Guitar Ensemble Open to New Members
As of Term 2, the Guitar Ensemble is accepting new members including those with no previous experience. Rehearsals are Tuesdays 2.40-3.40 in C Block,with Sean Windsor. Applicants are required to join the Music Ensemble Program for an annual fee of $300 and to take one on weekly lessons on the guitar.
Important Tour News
Firstly, congratualtions to all those who attended the Pupil Free Day workshop …a big success with significant improvement evident…looks like the tour is going to be a great success! Please get yout tour paperwork and payment in asap.
Pay the invoice for the $410 balance for the tour as soon as you can before May 5
Fill out and return all the forms without volunteers having to chase you
Pay attention to the instructions in the tour pack – bring your own black music folder, folding music stand and uniform requirements.
Tour rehearsal Schedule -take note and attend as follows:
From Term 2 – Tour Ensemble Junior and Senior to rehearse on Tuesdays from 2.30-3.30 pm
Junior Concert Band to continue to rehearse Mondays as usual, Junior and Senior Stage Bands to continue to rehearse as usual.
Choir and vocal ensembles to continue to rehearse as usual.
