End of Year Concert – Thursday, 15th November

END OF YEAR CONCERT FOR MUSIC ENSEMBLES PROGRAM

This Thursday November 15 is the final Ensembles Concert for the Year
this year there are a number of changes being introduced with a view to
improving the evening for all performers and guests.

Barbecue from 6pm to 6.30pm – This will be held in the courtyard in
front of the school canteen – out of the wind, and with the
school’s beautiful harbour view in sight. There are also benches and
tables so please come along at 6pm to enjoy a pleasant social. *We
definitely need donations of baked goodies to sell*, and we do need
helpers from 5pm to serve and sell and help manage the ensembles.

Concert Protocol and running order

not be permitted on stage if not in full uniform: black pants (no
jeans), black shoes, black socks and MEP shirt.

Running sheet: Periods 5 & 6 on 15 Nov to be used as rehearsal/sound
check for Junior Concert, Junior Stage, Senior Concert, Senior Stage
and Rock Bands

Students to arrive 5.45pm on the night, please support the fundraising
sausage sizzle and cake stand.

Concert Etiquette – The concert will start at 6.30pm. When not
performing, students will be in the MEP rehearsal space. No food or
drinks will be permitted in the rehearsal space. We do want to
encourage the audience to watch all ensembles perform, so sales of
food and drink will be restricted to before the concert and the
(short) interval.

Looking forward to a lovely evening to wrap up another great musical
year.
