MEP director Murray Jackson in performance

Don’t miss two upcoming opportunities to hear MEP director and saxophonist Murray Jackson in performance as part of The Tundra Ensemble, the vehicle for a unique cycle of compositions by drummer/conductor Jason Isaac. Over a 4 year period, Jason was a participant in the Symphony Australia Conductor Development Program, where he studied many of the masterworks of the orchestral literature whilst continuing to perform and record Jazz and Contemporary music. The inevitable cross-pollination resulted in an eclectic cycle of compositions with serious formal consideration that also give the ensemble room to mould and create in real-time through improvisation.
